How to Level Up Fast in Butcher Hero

Published: 2026-10-30

To level up fast in Butcher Hero, clear every island you can reach each day, stay until the last respawn dies to earn the island medal, and farm with gear that has Extra Bounty abilities. Your power is the stats that kills add for good, so the quickest route is the island that drops the stat you need, boosted by stat drop upgrades, accessories and VIP Multicast.

Daily Island Clears

Fast progress in Butcher Hero starts with a daily route. Enemies return on timers, so a loop through the islands you can clear collects a fresh batch of permanent stats every day. Players recommend going back to earlier islands each day and focusing on the latest island that drops the stat you need right now.

New players do the same loop on a smaller scale: clear what you can, grow, then move up to the group that used to beat you. The beginner guide covers the first island and the green pool that heals you between fights.

Island Medals

An island medal is the reward for a full daily clear. Kill every enemy on the island, including the ones that respawn while you work, and the game shows the New Medal message. A medal icon pops up next to the minimap once the island is completely empty and nothing else can spawn on it for the rest of the day.

Players report that each completed day adds a 10% buff, and the buff reaches its 50% maximum after five completions. The game itself says stats have increased when a medal arrives. The Butcher Hero map page lists all the islands.

Plan the run around the rule. Finish one island completely before you leave it, because the medal counts only when the respawns are gone too.

Extra Bounty Gear

Extra Bounty is an item ability: on kill, it has a chance to permanently grant extra stats. Players farming stats look for the words Extra Bounty in an item's description and equip those weapons while they clear islands. The Soul Tree has an upgrade that raises the trigger chance of Extra Bounty abilities, so the gear gets better as the tree grows.

Accessories carry their own versions. Vitality Charm, Regeneration Charm and Vampiric Charm each have an Extra Bounty ability for Health, Health Regen and Lifesteal, and Magic Charm has one for Magic Damage. Players also pick gear that gives a chance of Health, Health Regen or Lifesteal bonuses on kill when they clear easier islands. See the equipment guide for how slots and accessories work.

Stat Drop Boosts

The game's own tip says to use economy items to boost the stat gains from the map. Several sources add to what each kill gives:

Players also report that raising max item charges earns more items and souls per day, and that higher item drops cut the time you spend on dailies. Percentage bonuses from different sources multiply with each other, so each new source counts on top of the rest. The stats explained page lists every stat these bonuses touch, and the Soul Tree guide shows which upgrades to buy first.

Tree Farming

Trees are farm targets too. A Cutting weapon ability increases the stats you gain from trees and deals +100% damage to trees, and Star Compass has its own chance to multiply a tree's stat drop. One player's farming set uses daggers, a Cutting weapon that raises tree stats, a Wooden horns helmet for Health Regen and a Crimson fang shield for Lifesteal.

Trees also heal. In a hard fight, players hit nearby trees for a burst of Lifesteal while the enemy's regeneration has not kicked in, and then go back to the enemy.

Multicast and Cashback

VIP adds two stat boosts that apply to everything above. Multicast gives each kill a chance to multiply the stats you gain by x2, x3 or x4, and Daily Cashback returns a share of the stats you earned. The game says VIP points come from in-app purchases, and the VIP levels page lists the other perks.

813%x4+39%20%
915%x4+45%-

The average column is the chance times the extra multiplier, worked out over many kills. It rises at every level even where the chance dips, such as VIP 5 and VIP 8, because the multiplier grows faster than the chance shrinks. The game lists Daily Cashback at VIP 3 (10% of gained stats), VIP 5 (increased to 15%) and VIP 8 (20%), and it shows how much is ready to claim each day.

Auto farm is a VIP feature too: the game lists it as unlocking at VIP 3.

Kiting at the Pool

Kiting lets you beat enemies that out-damage you. Hit the enemy with your weapons, run away while your Regen heals you, then hit again before the enemy starts regenerating. Standing in the green regeneration circle boosts the healing, so players lure a stronger enemy toward it and alternate attacks with healing.

Attack again only when your health is above the damage the enemy deals per hit.

Island Order

The game numbers 17 islands, and you move up the list as your stats allow. The table shows the order and the islands that have a stat drop upgrade in the Soul Tree.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it worth going back to old islands?

Yes. Players clear earlier islands every day and favor the latest island that drops the stat they need. The game also says soul drop amounts do not depend on island level, so old islands stay a good source of souls. Spend them in the Soul Tree to speed up everything else.

How often can I earn an island medal?

Once per island each day. The medal message says you cleared the island for today, so the clock resets daily. Players report a 10% buff for each completed day, topping out at 50% after five completions. Kill every respawn and wait for the medal icon next to the minimap.

What does Multicast do in Butcher Hero?

Multicast is a VIP perk that gives each kill a chance to multiply the stats you gain. At VIP 1 the chance is 5% for x2, and at VIP 10 it is 17% for x4. The table on this page lists every level, and you earn VIP points through in-app purchases.

When does auto farm unlock?

Auto farm is a VIP feature that unlocks at VIP level 3, the same level where Daily Cashback starts. The VIP list shows it as unlocking the auto farm feature. Check the VIP window in the game to see your points and the next reward on the list.

Do percentage stats from different sources stack?

They multiply. A tip in the game says percentage stats from different sources multiply with each other, so a boost from an item, another from the Soul Tree and a third from VIP each scale the total. Check the stats page to see which stats take percentage bonuses.

What should I farm when I keep dying?

Players suggest farming Health Regen when survival limits your progress. Wear gear with kill-triggered Health, Health Regen or Lifesteal bonuses on easier islands, fight near the green pool, and retreat into it to heal when your health drops. Vitality Charm and Regeneration Charm raise those drops.
