Butcher Hero Guides
In Butcher Hero you hook enemies, eat them and gain permanent stats, and these guides cover how to get stronger at each stage. Start with the beginner guide for the first island, then move on to fast leveling, gear, stats, the Soul Tree, free gems, builds, the Demonic Crystal and promo codes. The tips below come straight from the game.

Each guide covers one part of the game and links to the pages around it. New players can read them in this order, and veterans can jump to the system they need.
Top Tips from the Game
The game shows short tips while you play. These are the ones that save the most time, with the page that explains each in depth:
- Match your weapons and armor to the enemy. The minimap shows enemy type hints for each location, so pick matching weapons before you walk in. The game ranks weakness and resistance above raw item level in many fights. See the equipment guide.
- Spend souls early instead of saving them for long, and buy farming and progression nodes in the Soul Tree before luxury upgrades.
- Use your Boss Tower tickets and enchant stones each day, since both refill daily.
- Pin your best gear so Equip All leaves it alone, and use the inventory buttons in the top-left corner to swap saved sets.
- Chest level strongly affects Legendary drop chances and the amount of loot, and VIP levels and the Soul Tree both raise it.
- Build one complete weapon and stat combo. The game says one full combo usually beats three half-finished ones.
- An item ability sometimes matters more than matching an enemy's weakness, so read ability text before you swap.
- Go after enemies that drop item evolution materials. Evolutions can unlock brand-new abilities.
- Check the shop rotations regularly for good deals on chests, crystals and souls.
- Keep your crystal inventory lean by selling, upgrading and repeating, and enchant crystals, since enchanting can make even a Common crystal much stronger.
- When your main accessories hit max level, rotate in other ones so they gain levels too.
- Climb the floors of the Boss Tower and the event leagues to unlock better rewards.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where should I start in Butcher Hero?
Start with the beginner guide. It covers the first island, Meadowlands, the green pool that heals you and the first boss. Then clear islands daily, spend your souls early and open the weapon slots from the mine quests. The level up fast guide shows how to make each day count.
How many islands are in Butcher Hero?
The game has 17 islands, from Meadowlands as island 1 to Vampire's Sanctum as island 17. You work up the list as your stats allow, and a full daily clear of each one earns an island medal. The map page shows them all, and the chest pages cover each one.
Is Butcher Hero the same game as Hook n Chew RPG?
Yes. The game used to be called Butcher hero: hook'n'chew RPG, and the store now lists it as Butcher Hero: Monster Idle RPG. It is the same game under its new store name, and these guides use the current one.
Can I play Butcher Hero offline?
Yes. If the server is out of reach, the game offers a Play Offline button and you can carry on with the adventure. A few features need a stable connection, so reconnect when you can and use Cloud Saves to protect your progress across devices.
How do I get free gems?
Complete quests in the offerwall in the shop and the game pays out free gems. Check the shop rotations too, because the game says they hold good deals on chests, crystals and souls. The gems guide covers the best way to spend what you earn.
How do I unlock the Soul Tree?
Harvest the soul of the Legendary Dragon, and the game unleashes the ancient power of the Soul Tree. Once it is open, souls from your kills pay for upgrades, and new layers appear as your amulet level rises. The Soul Tree guide lists what to buy first.
