Butcher Hero Update 2.1 brings Cloud Saves, new event fights, accessories and avatar passives. Google Play dates the update 2026-10-23; the App Store lists version 2.1.0 on 2026-10-26. The history below follows each release and the systems it changed.
Latest Features and Balance Changes
The update expands account protection, event rules and equipment choices together. Its announcement highlights the following additions and reworks:
- Cloud Saves stores progress after you sign in through Google Play Games or Game Center in Profile. The save help answers explain the messages you may see.
- New event bosses include an ancient forest guardian, a dark knight, a pirate brute and a fierce troll. The announcement gives each its own fighting style.
- Event Perks and leaderboards add rules that change event play. Higher leagues unlock perks, and a random perk is chosen when an event begins.
- Accessories bring unique bonuses and abilities to a new Accessory Slot. An equipped accessory earns XP when you kill enemies.
- The Mythical weapon additions are Titan's Fury, Crimson Thunder and Phantom Fang. Each inherits the damage of the best item in its class.
- Avatar achievements unlock profile pictures and passive abilities. Earned abilities stay active even while another avatar is selected.
- New Soul Tree upgrades expand the upgrade choices. Review the tree again if you last checked it before this release.
- The Vikings fight receives a rework. Keep that change in mind when comparing a current attempt with an older account of the battle.
- A Graphics setting improves the visuals, alongside interface improvements. The Settings questions point to the quality options.
Island Mastery and Interface Updates
Version 2.0.4, dated 2026-08-25 on the App Store, introduced shop Offerwalls for earning Gems and Island Mastery. The update mail describes clearing every enemy on an island to earn Island Medals.
The same release added hidden chests, a shortcut and Easter Eggs to the map. It reworked the knife and hydra, weakened Vikings, strengthened armor and increased item scaling. Cooldown reductions became available earlier, new event upgrades arrived, and fixes covered items and push notifications. Use the secret chest locations when revisiting the changed map.
Before that, version 2.0.3 arrived on 2026-08-12. It added notification controls and support for Portuguese, French, Italian, Ukrainian, Polish and Turkish. Loading tips, the enchant window, map balance and server performance also received attention. An inventory loadout slot joined the interface, while Cloud Saves was still described as being developed at that point.

The Global Progression Rework
The App Store lists Global Update 2.0 as version 2.0.2, dated 2026-07-20. Its mail says gates were locked and players returned to base because the new features changed middle and late game balance.
The Soul Tree introduced souls from defeated enemies and special upgrades. Its announcement says soul drop amounts do not depend on island level, making earlier islands useful for collecting them.
The Boss Tower brought a portal unlocked using gems from map bosses, with powerful opponents whose abilities interact with equipment. The crystal system added Geodes and enchanting. Its announcement describes defeating the crystal on the map to unlock production, then opening Geodes for crystals. See the Demonic Crystal guide for the system's current terminology and steps.
Equipment and the map were also reworked. The release added stats and elite units, redistributed item spawns, introduced event leagues and hid chests around the map.
