All Butcher Hero Items

You equip items from the inventory into weapon, helmet, shield and accessory slots, and every item starts with one ability and opens more as its level grows. The tables list each slot in turn: first weapons, then helmets, shields and accessories. A name with a link has its own page with the full ability values by level.

Weapons List

Weapons deal Cutting, Piercing or Smashing damage. Every type has one weapon of each rarity from Common to Legendary, so you can read the table as three ladders. The three Mythic weapons come from events. The best weapons page picks apart each type.

Helmets List

Helmets give armor and come with abilities of their own. Their damage type decides what they defend against, and the game's own tips say to match your armor to the damage the enemies deal. The Mythic Mushroommancer Cap is Universal.

Accessories and Charms

Accessories form their own equipment class. Kills feed them experience, and new abilities appear as they level. 9 of the 15 accessories are charms or other items with an Extra Bounty ability, which gives a chance on a kill to add a permanent stat. The charms also carry Map Resonance, which raises how much of their stat drops from the map, and a Mastery ability that raises the stat itself.

AccessoryAbilities

Crushing CharmMap Resonance, Extra Bounty, Smash Damage Mastery
Crushing Guard CharmMap Resonance, Extra Bounty, Smash Defense Mastery
Crystal AmuletGeode Seeker, Dust Seeker, Enchantment Cycle

Vampiric CharmMap Resonance, Extra Bounty, Lifesteal Mastery
Vitality CharmMap Resonance, Extra Bounty, Health Mastery

Take the Crushing Charm as an example: Map Resonance raises Smash Damage drops from the map by 8% to 60%, and Smash Damage Mastery raises Smash Damage by 10% to 60%. Map Resonance opens at item level 1 and Smash Damage Mastery at item level 7. The Blacksmith Pendant works differently: it gives a chance to multiply the copies of an item you receive from the map.

Rarities and Damage Types

Rarity runs through seven names: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic and Divine. Common sits at the bottom and Legendary closes the regular line. Events hand out the Mythic items, while Divine marks the evolved form of an item. For weapons, helmets and shields, each damage type has exactly one item of every rarity from Common to Legendary, so a rarity step inside one type always means one clear upgrade.

The game names five damage types: Smashing, Cutting, Piercing, Magic and Universal. Regular gear sticks to Smashing, Cutting and Piercing, and the two Mushroommancer items are Universal. Some enemies take more from one type, and the green hint on screen tells you which.

Mythic Weapons from Events

Update 2.1 brought three Mythic weapons: Titan's Fury (Cutting), Phantom Fang (Piercing) and Crimson Thunder (Smashing). In the game's words, Mythic items turn up in event rewards. Their damage follows the best item of the same class, and each one has a Legacy ability with a progress bar that grants inheritance steps.

Copies, Levels and Evolution

Item level grows with every duplicate you collect: the same item drops again and again, and each one pushes the level up. The map supplies duplicates, and the Blacksmith turns spare gear into more while keeping sharpening progress when you take an item off. The Butcher Hero equipment guide covers slots, sharpening and the Blacksmith upgrades.

Each ability opens at a set item level and grows at fixed steps after that, so two copies of one item can differ a lot in power. Many items also have a Divine form, shown in the tables above. Evolving needs a set item level and unlocks new abilities, according to the game's store page.

Where Items Come From

Enemies on the islands drop most of your gear, and every repeat drop adds a copy to an item you already own. Several other sources feed the same inventory:

Spare items are not wasted either: since update 2.1 you can sharpen unused items at the Blacksmith to create copies and raise their level.

These items have their own page with ability tables, pairings and upgrade notes.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many items are there in Butcher Hero?

The game has 65 items in four slots: 18 weapons, 16 helmets, 16 shields and 15 accessories. 3 of the weapons are Mythic weapons from events. Every weapon, helmet and shield has a damage type, and accessories have their own bonuses and abilities.

How many rarities do items have?

The ladder has seven steps: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic and Divine. Events give out Mythic items, and Divine is the evolved form of an item. Regular weapons, helmets and shields cover Common to Legendary, with one item of each rarity for every damage type.

What are the damage types in Butcher Hero?

The game uses Smashing, Cutting, Piercing, Magic and Universal. Regular weapons, helmets and shields come in Cutting, Piercing and Smashing, and the Mythic Mushroommancer helmet and shield are Universal. The green hint on screen shows the type an enemy is weak to, so match your weapon to it.

What is a Divine item?

Divine is the highest rarity and the evolved form of an item. The Divine column in the tables shows which items have one. Evolving needs a set item level, and the game says that evolving items unlocks new abilities. Check the item card after you evolve to see the changes.

How do I level up items in Butcher Hero?

Collect duplicates of the same item. The map drops them, and the Blacksmith turns spare gear into more. Abilities grow in fixed steps, so a few extra duplicates can unlock a whole new ability. Duplicates also count while an item sits in your bag. For slots, sharpening and Blacksmith upgrades, open the equipment guide.

What are the Mythic weapons in Butcher Hero?

Update 2.1 added Titan's Fury, Phantom Fang and Crimson Thunder, one for each regular damage type. Events hand out Mythic items, and the damage of a Mythic weapon follows the strongest item of its class. See the best weapons page for their abilities.
