Titan Hammer in Butcher Hero

Published: 2026-10-30

Titan Hammer is an Epic weapon of the Smashing type. It is built around one big opening blow: the first hit on each enemy deals +130% extra damage at the start and up to +260% at item level 15, and its other two abilities make that first hit fire again on Shocked enemies and on enemies that are almost dead.

Titan Hammer at a Glance

Titan Hammer sits in a weapon slot. It deals Smashing damage, so it hits hardest on islands where the green hint in the top-right corner points to Smashing weapons. Like every item, it starts with its first ability and opens the others as its item level grows.

Abilities by Item Level

Empowered First Hit: the first hit on a target deals extra damage. Shock Combo: if the target is Shocked, the hammer absorbs the Shock and triggers Empowered First Hit again, and every hit has a chance to call a Lightning Strike. Execution Threshold: once an enemy falls below a share of its health, the first hit always triggers. The table shows each value from the base item up to level 15; a dash means the ability is still locked.

How the Abilities Combine

The hammer's power comes from repeating its first hit. A Lightning Strike deals +100% damage and puts Shock on the enemy. With Shock Combo, Titan Hammer eats that Shock and fires Empowered First Hit again, so a fight against one tough enemy turns into a chain of empowered first hits instead of one opening blow.

Shock Combo itself gives the hammer a chance to call Lightning on hit, from 8% at level 1 to 20% at level 15. Other weapons and items that cause Lightning feed the same loop. Execution Threshold closes the fight: when the enemy drops under 20% of its health (later 30%), every first hit triggers, which finishes bosses faster.

Best Pairings

Pair Titan Hammer with weapons that create Shock or Lightning. Mystic Mallet has Lightning Strike, Storm Amplifier and Shock Ramp: it calls Lightning Strikes, makes all Lightning damage stronger and rewards absorbed Shock. Toxic Hammer (Uncommon) brings Empty Impact, Shock Consume and Storm Slots, and Arcane Maul (Rare) adds stuns with Heavy Stun, Shock Stun and Stun Breaker.

The game's own tips say hammers pair best with setups built on health regeneration, which let you stay in melee longer. They also warn against mixing too many half-finished synergies: one complete weapon and stat combo usually beats three partial ones. The Butcher Hero best builds page lists full loadouts.

Levels, Copies and Evolution

Item level comes from copies of the same item. Copies drop on the map, and the Blacksmith Pendant accessory multiplies them. At the Blacksmith you can also sharpen items you do not use into new copies, and sharpening progress stays saved if you remove the item. The Butcher Hero equipment guide explains slots, copies and sharpening in detail.

Item evolution turns the hammer into its Divine form and can unlock new abilities, and it requires a set item level. Evolution materials drop from certain enemies, and the game advises hunting them for faster power spikes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Titan Hammer good in Butcher Hero?

Yes, for burst damage. Its first hit grows from +130% to +260% extra damage, and Shock Combo and Execution Threshold let that hit fire again in the middle of a fight. It shines against enemies weak to Smashing damage and next to a hammer that applies Shock, such as Mystic Mallet.

What rarity is Titan Hammer?

Titan Hammer is Epic, the middle of the weapon ladder between Rare and Legendary. Every damage type has one Epic weapon: Flame Cutter for Cutting, Ember Fang for Piercing and Titan Hammer for Smashing. The hammer also has a Divine form, the evolved version of the item shown with Divine rarity on its card.

When does Execution Threshold unlock?

Execution Threshold is the third ability and opens at item level 6. Until then its slot on the item card shows a padlock. It starts at 20% health and ends at 30% at level 15: when an enemy drops below that share of its health, your next first hit always triggers.

How do I level up Titan Hammer?

Collect copies of the item. Copies drop from enemies on the map, and every copy pushes the item level up. The Blacksmith can also sharpen weapons you do not use into new copies. Each ability gets stronger at fixed item levels, so the table on this page shows exactly what the next level gives.

What is the difference between Titan Hammer and Mystic Mallet?

Both are Smashing weapons, but they do different jobs. Mystic Mallet is Legendary and creates Lightning Strikes, with Storm Amplifier raising all Lightning damage. Titan Hammer is Epic and uses Shock: it absorbs Shock from a target to fire its empowered first hit again. Together they work as a pair.
