Mushroommancer Shield in Butcher Hero
Mushroommancer Shield is the only Mythic shield in Butcher Hero, and it is half of a two-piece set. Players earn it by defeating 400 golems in the Crystal Event, and the VIP Daily Chest can drop a Mythic shield at VIP level 8. Its first ability, Moss Spring, turns hits into permanent Health Regen, and Fungal Pact makes the shield stronger by up to 100% when the Mushroommancer Cap is equipped too.
Shield at a Glance
This shield sits in the shield slot and has the Universal type, which is separate from Smashing, Cutting and Piercing. All three abilities run on one ladder of 16 steps, from the base item to item level 15.

How to Get It
There are two routes. The first is the Crystal Event: a player who asked about this exact item was told the shield comes from killing 400 golems there. Golems are event enemies, and the game says that beating golems and bosses gives exclusive rewards. The Butcher Hero events page shows how the event and its leagues work.
The second route is the VIP Daily Chest. The VIP list reads that at VIP level 8 the Daily Chest drops a Mythic shield, and Mushroommancer Shield is the only Mythic shield in the item list. The Cap has its own, lower VIP step at VIP level 7. The VIP levels page lists every privilege by level.
Abilities by Item Level
Moss Spring gives a chance, on every hit, to gain permanent Health Regen. Twin Balance raises the damage you deal and lowers the damage you take by the same percentage. Fungal Pact checks for the Mushroommancer Cap and, when it is on, lifts the values of the first two abilities. The table lists the numbers for each item level.
| Item level | Moss Spring | Twin Balance | Fungal Pact with Cap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base | Locked | 5% | +25% |
| 1 | Active | 5.5% | +30% |
| 2 | Active | 6% | +35% |
| 3 | Active | 6.5% | +40% |

| 7 | Active | 8.5% | +60% |
| 8 | Active | 9% | +65% |
| 9 | Active | 9.5% | +70% |

Set With the Cap
The shield and the Mushroommancer Cap are built as a pair. Each carries a set ability that looks for the other piece: Fungal Pact on the shield and Cap Synergy on the helmet. When both are equipped, each of them lifts its own first two abilities, so the shield's Moss Spring and Twin Balance grow, and so do the Cap's Fungal Blessing and Symbiotic Force.
That is why the set is worth more than two Mythic pieces worn separately. Both set abilities share one ladder of boosts, 25% on the base item and 100% on level 15, so raising either piece pays off twice: its own numbers go up and the partner gets a better boost.
Mushroom Shield Video
The video follows a Crystal Event run in which a player farms hundreds of crystal golems for event rewards. That is the event whose golem kills lead to this shield, so it shows what the 400-golem goal looks like in play.
Farming Permanent Bonuses
Both set pieces give permanent stats on hit, and a bonus that stays after the fight is the main reason players keep them equipped. One player describes a simple method: stand next to a durable target and keep hitting it. The bonus only needs hits, so the target does not have to die. The same player says the daily amount is full after about an hour.
The same thread adds that piercing weapons attack fastest, which means more hits per minute. The Piercing weapons in the item list are Savage Fang (Common), Venom Shard (Uncommon), Phantom Edge (Rare), Ember Fang (Epic), Abyss Talon (Legendary) and Phantom Fang (Mythic). The Abyss Talon page covers the Legendary one in detail.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get the Mushroommancer Shield in Butcher Hero?
Players say the shield comes from killing 400 golems in the Crystal Event. The game also lists a second route: at VIP level 8 the Daily Chest drops a Mythic shield. The chest needs VIP points, and the game gives VIP points for purchases. The events page explains how golems and leagues work.
What rarity and type is the Mushroommancer Shield?
It is a Mythic shield of the Universal type. Universal is a type of its own, next to Smashing, Cutting and Piercing. It is the only Mythic shield in the item list.
What does Moss Spring do?
Moss Spring gives a chance on each hit to gain permanent Health Regen. The bonus stays after the fight, so every hit slowly builds your passive healing. It unlocks at item level 1, and Fungal Pact raises its value when the Mushroommancer Cap is equipped. The item card in the game shows the exact chance and amount.
Do I need the Mushroommancer Cap to use the shield?
No. The shield works alone and keeps Twin Balance, which adds 5% to 13% to damage dealt and cuts damage taken by the same amount. The Cap only matters for Fungal Pact, which checks that it is equipped and then lifts the first two abilities.
Is there a daily limit on the shield bonus?
Players report that the permanent Health Regen from the set stops coming at a daily amount and returns on the following day. Because of this, long idle sessions on a single target stop paying off after a point, so use the rest of the day on islands and events.
